There are several advantages to getting an older Jack vs a puppy. COST....he is cheaper than my puppies adopt for (call me for info) pups cost $650- $900 with a spay/neuter agreement and have only 1 shot when they go home. You still have 2 sets, of shots, rabies and the cost of neutering/spaying. All this is already done! HOUSE TRAINING....with a pup you have to house break him and it can take a lot of patience and time potty training. Pups also go through their chewing phase and will chew baseboards, chairs, etc... in most cases all this has been done for you!

Hello, my name is J.D. I am 1 1/2 years old and house trained. I just had my annual check-up and had those horrible shots! My DHLPP is good until 5/2010 & rabies until 2012 . I have also been neutered. I have been on a reg schedule of heartworm prevention and frontline. I don't see what all the fuss is about but my mrs says it will keep me healthy. My last family started new lives and did not have the time to care for me anymore. Although we loved each other very much. They decided it was best for me to find a new family who had more time to devote to me and spoil me. I am very athletic and active. I love to play ball and LOVE kids to play with! I would be happy to have a small sibling but I must warn you I can get carried away playing ball! I am looking for a new forever home who can provide me with lots of love and attention. Please do not apply if you work all day. I wouldn't mind being home alone for a couple hours at a time but no more. If you know you would be the right new family for me please send in a puppy application and my mrs will give you a call!
